Iran regime’s defiance increases tensions with Israel

  By Dr. Majid Rafizadeh Rising tensions between the Iranian regime and Israel have the potential to spiral into a wider conflict if not adequately addressed. There are several reasons for the heightened tensions. First of all, although the Iranian regime attempts to distract attention from the direct involvement of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps in Syria, Tehran continues to increase its military influence there and use its proxies against Israeli targets. Israel last month carried out an airstrike in Syria on a location where Iranian officials were meeting. Iranian leaders were reportedly meeting to discuss developments regarding their country’s drone and ballistic missile capabilities in Syria. The attack occurred on the same day that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu blamed the Iranian government for an attack on a vessel owned by an Israeli in the Arabian Gulf. Iran’s Juvenile Executions Won’t Stop Unless Retroactively Punished

 Written by Mohammad Sadat Khansari Yesterday, another international campaign to halt the execution of a juvenile offender in Iran,  Arman Abdolali , was utterly ignored and carried out. Several such individuals are put to death each year, and each new incident prompts an outpouring of public statements condemning the Iranian regime’s judiciary for a long list of irregularities as well as for being one of the only nations still handing down death sentences for minors, in clear violation of international law.   It is estimated that the clerical regime is responsible for 70 percent of  juvenile death  sentences implemented throughout the world over the past 30 years. And despite the outcry from human rights organizations, Western governments, and Iranian activists and expatriates, there is no sign of the trend slowing down anytime soon. Iran: Farmers Continue Protests in Isfahan and Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province Against Water Shortages

Iran Protests  in Shahrekord and Isfahan – No. 5 Farmer’s Warning: We Are Either Killed in this River or You Open the Water Bakhtiari youth and people demonstrated on Tuesday, the third day of protests against  water shortage in Shahrekord , the provincial capital. The demonstrators chanted, “We are fighting women and men. Fight and we will fight back,” and “We will turn water to blood”. They also vowed to continue the protests until their demands are met. Meanwhile, the sit-in by farmers of Isfahan, continuing round-the-clock in Zayandeh Rud river, entered its 14 th  day. In a video clip posted on the Internet, a farmer, addressing the sit-in, warns the clerical regime that if the water is not returned to the river, the diversions to the Yazd and Isfahan steel refineries will be shut. “We are either killed in this river or you open the water,” he stressed. Thousands join Isfahan’s farmers in 12th day of protests over water shortages

  By Mahmoud Hakamian The farmers of Isfahan province held the twelfth consecutive day of strikes and protests on Friday, gathering at the dried basin of Zayandeh Rud river. The latest round of protests began on November 8 with farmers gathering in front of the provincial water company and the regime’s state-run television. On November 9, the protesters transferred their rally to the river’s basin. Some farmers have set up tents in the area and are remaining at the protest scene day and night. The protests have been growing more intense and crowded in the past two weeks. During this time, people of all walks of life have joined the farmers in their demonstrations against destructive government policies. On Friday, there were thousands of protesters at Zayandeh Rud. Belgium Appeal Court Hearing Renews Calls To Expel Iran Regime Operative From Europe

On November 17 and 18, a court in Belgium heard the appeal cases of three Iranian  operatives  who had attempted to bomb the Iranian opposition’s rally in 2018 in France. Nasimeh Naami, Amir Saadouni, and Mehrdad Arefani were all part of a terrorist cell led by the Iranian high-ranking diplomat terrorist, Assadollah Assadi. Naami and Saadouni became Belgian  citizens  in the early 2000s, after years of enjoying their political refugee status. Their status as political refugees did not prevent them from secretly traveling back to Iran. Once in Iran, they received orders from their handlers in the Ministry of Intelligence and Security (MOIS). Iran: 1000 Former Political Prisoners Vow To Continue the Struggle for Freedom

Documents obtained from his vehicle showed that Assadi had held meetings at nearly 300 locations in at least 11 countries over the previous four years. Iran will seek more concessions when nuclear talks resume

    By Dr. Majid Rafizadeh After months of stalling and avoiding nuclear talks, the Iranian regime has finally agreed to resume negotiations with the P5+1 world powers this month in an apparent attempt to revive the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action nuclear deal. What strategy will the Iranian regime employ in the Vienna talks? The Iranian leaders have stated that their preferred date to return to the negotiating table is Nov. 29. But why did they ultimately agree to resume talks and why did they choose this exact date? Firstly, the Iranian leaders were most likely concerned that, if they kept buying time and postponing the nuclear talks, Israel’s patience would run out and it would strike Iran’s nuclear facilities.
